Meet the Team
Donna Erodotou BSc (Hons), MBAcC, Yoga Alliance UK
I have been practising yoga for 20 years now but began to take it more seriously around 10 years ago when I discovered Ashtanga and Vinyasa Flow. It made me feel so calm and relaxed, and with regular practice, this amazing feeling enhanced my whole life and minimised stress levels.
Around this time, I became an attuned Reiki Healer. This was the first step to becoming a professional in treating others with remarkable results.
After suffering from migraines for years, I found that Acupuncture was extremely promising. My headaches were less frequent and less painful. Shortly after, I was involved in a serious accident which left me physically and emotionally vulnerable. I began to further value the importance of calmness, meditation and doing gentle yoga. Weekly Acupuncture treatments confirmed my belief that acupuncture gives amazing results. Later in the year, I began my university BSc (Hons) degree in Acupuncture at the renowned Northern College of Acupuncture in York, graduating with a 2.1 in 2017.
I took my yoga practice further by training with the British Wheel of Yoga in 2015 and I began training as a teacher at The Yoga Space in Leeds, graduating with Yoga Alliance UK in 2016. I have been teaching in Boston Spa since then with an exceptional number of dedicated and happy students!
Shortly after, I opened my Acupuncture Clinic on Boston Spa High Street where my patients receive outstanding results, as you can see through my reviews. I continue to undertake professional development regularly to ensure the best possible results for my patients. This includes training with Philip Weeks in the Master Tung Method and with Si Yuan Balance Method (Dr Tan's Balance Method) which has been revolutionary in my practice. I have also done further yoga teacher training with Uma Dinsmore-Tuli in 'Womb Yoga - Yoga for Women's Health'.
Jenny Thewlis, Nutritionist
Jenny is an experienced Nutritional Therapist and works alongside Donna to provide additional help with food and nutrition. This takes account of and complements the acupuncture treatment that Donna provides. Nutrition advice is tailored to suit every individual and takes account of each health situation.
The initial consultation is £80, lasts for approximately 90 minutes and requires completion of a health questionnaire so that we can take full account of every aspect of your health or ill health.
We discuss your current diet, which foods may help & which may be hindering your return to full health. We agree on achievable and sustainable steps and review progress to suit you.
Follow up appointments, when required are £40 and last around 60 mins.
If you would like to talk about whether nutrition advice would be helpful in your situation, you can speak to Donna or chat with Jenny on the phone, for a free 10-minute consultation.

Claire Rabia Rose
Claire has been singing as a spiritual practice for almost ten years, she has spent years in both India and Turkey experiencing music and mysticism, now back in Yorkshire she continues to study Indian Ragas with her teacher in Leeds and is exploring the traditional sacred practices of the British isles with much love and fascination.
About Music For Meditation...
Singing is a sacred practice and the voice a tool to fine-tune our consciousness. When we sing mantras, that is, devotional music where we repeat a sacred phrase and a simple but beautiful melody, we drop out of the mind and into the heart and enter a blissful yet meditative state.
In every spiritual tradition on earth singing and music has been used to connect us to the sacred reality, to harmonise our body, mind, spirit and to strengthen our communities. Claire loves to teach and sing music from a variety of traditions, sharing the unity of mystical experience she has discovered on her journey.
In our groups, we aim to create a heart-centred, comfortable and nurturing environment for people of any/no previous experience to come and discover the power of their own voice and the uplifting nature of devotional music...Just come as you are in comfy clothing, the group lasts roughly an hour and a half and we have a break for tea and chocolate.
“Devotional singing can help quieten the mind so that the heart can open to the divine, allowing us to taste the blissful reality that is our true nature.” Amma
