Donna recognises from her own life experiences that emotional support can be invaluable and necessary when dealing with reproductive health issues such as miscarriage and infertility.    She aims to hold space and time to support you through your journey.   Donna's special interest is in Women's Health including menstruation, PMS, fertility, infertility, pregnancy,  miscarriage, PCOS, endometriosis, peri-menopause and menopause.   She is interested in lifestyles and dietary choices and how these affect a woman's reproductive health.

"I have been practising yoga for 24 years but began to take it more seriously around 15 years ago when I discovered Ashtanga and Vinyasa Flow.  It made me feel so calm and relaxed, and with regular practice, this amazing feeling enhanced my whole life and minimised stress levels.  Around this time, I became an attuned Reiki Healer.  This was the first step to becoming a professional in treating others with remarkable results.  After suffering from migraines for years, I found that Acupuncture was extremely promising.  My headaches were less frequent and less painful.  Shortly after, I was involved in a serious accident which left me physically and emotionally vulnerable.  I began to further value the importance of calmness, meditation and doing gentle yoga.  Weekly Acupuncture treatments confirmed my belief that acupuncture gives amazing results.  Later in the year, I began my university BSc (Hons) degree in Acupuncture at the renowned Northern College of Acupuncture in York, graduating with a 2.1 in 2017.  I took my yoga practice further by training with the British Wheel of Yoga in 2015 and I began training as a teacher at The Yoga Space in Leeds, graduating with Yoga Alliance UK in 2016.  I have been teaching in Boston Spa since then with an exceptional number of dedicated and happy students!  Shortly after, I opened my Acupuncture Clinic on Boston Spa High Street where my patients receive outstanding results, as you can see through my reviews.  I continue to undertake professional development regularly to ensure the best possible results for my patients.  This includes training with Philip Weeks in the Master Tung Method and with Si Yuan Balance Method  (Dr Tan's Balance Method) which has been revolutionary in my practice.  I have also done further yoga teacher training with Uma Dinsmore-Tuli in 'Womb Yoga - Yoga for Women's Health'."
